The facility is located 1 hour outside of Chicago, Illinois.
About the clinician's workday
The cases include GI (highest volume), placenta, breast, and pap smears. Grossing and frozen sections are required. The histotech will cut frozen sections. Temporary privileges can be granted to expedite the credentialing process to takes approximately 2 weeks. Candidates must be BC and have an active IL license.
