Critical Care APP Locum Opportunity in Marina Del Rey, CA

- Start Date: February 2025

Work Details:
- Support Staff: Backup support from academic intensivist and academic pulmonary critical care fellows. Procedural backup from ER..
- Patients per day: 12 bed unit- not always at capacity. Provider would be responsible for all patients in unit while on night shift.
- Department Description: APP will be responsible to see all new admissions to the ICU, round on and manage current ICU patients and perform critical care procedures. Respond and assist with code blue management. Intensivists and fellows will be available by phone to assist with management but APP will be a solo provider on night shift and should be comfortable to work autonomously.
- EMR: EPIC
- Special Procedures: Must have experience with central line and arterial line. Intubation experience strongly preferred.
- Skills Required: Vent management, lines, codes, comfortable working independently.

Requirements:
- License Required: Active CA license
- Certifications Required: ACLS, BLS
- Minimum Experience Required: 2 years of APP ICU experience OR 2 years of RN ICU experience prior to APP licensure.
- Credentialing Timeframe: Up to 90 days.
