Part-time Psychiatrist Opening

Job description

• Licensed Psychiatrist needed for residential treatment program.
• BC/BE preferred not required
• Adult Only, severe mental illness and IDD patients. Experience with this population is required.
• 2 days a week
• Schedule: They are flexible on the schedule However preference is Mondays & Thursdays 9am - 5:30pm
• 6-8 Patients per day -Provider will be "rounding" at each home with a RN - Each home has home staff that are with the patients 24/7 - After provider is done with rounds they will meet with the rest of the providers to discuss each patient and give recommendation for treatment. ** Provider is not actually prescribing**
• Cases Seen: Anger, Bipolar, General psych disorders, IDD/DD
• Support staff: Primary MD, Psychologist, NP's, LCSW's, Therapists

• Adult only
• Residential treatment facility
• Will cover lodging and malpractice insurance
