Job description

Specialty: General Surgery/Bariatric Surgery NP
Start Date: As soon as credentialed
Contract Length: 6 months, ongoing
Shift Details: 40 hrs/week, 4 10’s or 8 5’s- TBD
Schedule: Full time
Work Details:
• Support Staff: Surgeons, 1 PA, 2 NP’s
• Amount of Coverage Needed per Month: Full time for maternity coverage- possible perm opportunity if provider is PA.
• Patients per day: 10-20 on clinic days
• Department Description: Will assist surgeon to ensure efficient patient flow. Common cases in OR are hernia repair, gastric cancer, EGD, weight loss. Mix of OR days and clinic days- will also have one day of admin work.
• EMR: EPIC
• Skills Required: Willing to train the right candidate
Practice Setting:
• Clinic
• Hospital

• 26 weeks with option to extend
• No weekends or call
• Willing to train the right candidate
