Location: Northern New Jersey, a small, quiet, and welcoming town It's located 40 miles west of New York City and borders the largest lake in New Jersey offering residents and visitors outstanding boating, sailing, kayaking, swimming, fishing, water sports and more year-round. Facility: Outpatient multi-specialty group practice. Opportunity: Responsibilities include providing patient medical care to all age groups in an office-based setting, delivering diagnostic and therapeutic medical services, and making sound medical assessments and treatment plans. Outpatient setting 36 clinical hours + 4 administrative hours (working schedule TBD by practice to include some on call and rotating Saturday shifts): Disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery Treatment of acute illnesses Treatment of acute injuries Prescribes and administers medications, performs routine vaccinations, and provides advice regarding personal health and hygiene Requests necessary tests and follow-up visits and refers patients to specialists, as necessary Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field Relies on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected Provides direction to both clinical and reception support staff Approximately 20-25 patients per day Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned Strong computer skills with prior electronic medical record (EMR) use preferred Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, hospital personnel and community members Skills to perform patient treatment procedures for most acute illnesses or injuries Remains calm and effective in high pressure and emergency situations EMR: Athena Open to new graduate candidates who are TRULY Board Eligible (within 5 years of eligibility) Compensation: To be discussed at interview Value Based Care Incentives Performance Bonus - Bonus structures are built on a percentage of net collections, usually 35% after base draw.
