Location: Lake in Northern New Jersey, a popular recreational area known for boating, fishing, and various water sports. Facility: A healthcare facility that provides urgent medical services, often for non-life-threatening conditions that require immediate attention but do not necessarily require a visit to a hospital emergency room. Opportunity: Responsibilities include providing patient medical care to all age groups in an office-based setting, delivering diagnostic and therapeutic medical services, and making sound medical assessments and treatment plans. Outpatient setting Office Hours are as follows (working schedule TBD by practice to include some on call and rotating Saturday shifts): - Monday - 9am-6pm - Tuesday- 9am-8pm - Wednesday- 8am-8pm - Thursday- 8am-9pm - Friday- 9am-5pm - Saturday 9am-1pm Disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery Treatment of acute illnesses Treatment of acute injuries Prescribes and administers medications, performs routine vaccinations, and provides advice regarding personal health and hygiene Requests necessary tests and follow-up visits and refers patients to specialists, as necessary Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field Relies on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected Provides direction to both clinical and reception support staff Proper and complete medical documentation (without copy/paste) for all patient care in order to assure accuracy (above 80% with goal of 95%) of E/M coding – and closing/sign off after review of all patient charts in accordance with company policies Failure to meet this essential job function can affect the eligibility for productivity/PCN (percent net collection) bonuses Expected to see 25 patients per day Proper and complete medical documentation (without copy/paste) for all patient care in order to assure accuracy of HCC coding. Failure to meet this essential job function can affect the eligibility for VBC bonuses Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned Successful completion of CHC’s credentialing and privileging review upon hire and re-credentialing as appropriate Strong computer skills with prior electronic medical record (EMR) use preferred Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, hospital personnel and community members Skills to perform patient treatment procedures for most acute illnesses or injuries Remains calm and effective in high pressure and emergency situations EMR: Athena Compensation: Competitive salary range based on experience and training (to be discussed at interview).
