Job description

Location: A small town located in the eastern Oregon. It’s known for its rich history, scenic surroundings, and outdoor recreational opportunities, including hiking, fishing, and skiing in the nearby Wallowa Mountains. The town has a charming downtown area with historic buildings, local shops, and restaurants. It's also close to attractions like the Oregon Trail and the Baker City Historic District. Facility: A community hospital that provides a range of healthcare services, including emergency care, outpatient services, and specialty care. Opportunity: Looking for an Emergency Medicine provider to start ASAP for a minimum of 6 shifts per month. Single ED physician covers 24 hours shifts. Average patient volume is 21 per 24 hour shift. Vast majority of the patients are Level 3,4 or 5 (72%). Primary care coverage of inpatient care 24/7. Effective telestroke program well established. Single call to Medical Access Center for transfers/physician consultation. EMR: EPIC Credentialing timeframe: 2-3 months Compensation: Competitive hourly rate with weekly pay plus malpractice
