Facility: Children's Hospital- full complement of pediatric medical and surgical subspecialists Inpatient and outpatient services, unique to the region Specialized Pediatric Emergency Care Center 55 bed Regional Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (Level III), staffed 24 hours by neonatologists 10 bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, staffed 24/7 by Pediatric Intensivists Dedicated Pediatric Sedation Service for neurodiagnostic studies Patient and Family Centered Care Child Life Specialists Center for Autism Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation on campus state-of-the-art rehab center offering inpatient and outpatient pediatric physiatry services Opportunity: Seeking full-time Board Certified or Board Eligible Pediatric Neurologists to join the Pediatrics Department. Rapidly growing pediatric department in a new pediatric residency program Fellowship-trained in Neurology with Special Qualification in Child Neurology is preferred. Focus on providing care for both pediatric inpatient consults and ambulatory outpatient service Candidates must have exemplary clinical skills and a strong interest in teaching Role includes resident and medical student education Best suited for candidates who are at the assistant or associate professor level, but all ranks will be considered A leadership role will be considered for those with the requisite experience; all faculty are appointed through Central Michigan University College of Medicine.
