Psychiatrist needed in Martinez, CA! $275/hour +Travel and Lodging

Job description

Support Staff- Multiple onsite that make up multi-disciplinary team to support Psychiatrist
Procedures- provider risk assessment informing 5150 hold decisions, medications, medical comorbidities and psychiatric diagnostics
Flexible to shape workflow based on clinical priority
EMR- EPIC
Duration- Ongoing need (couple months up to a 6 month period)
Credentialing timeframe- Hoping for quicker process than normal but typically 3 months (90 day period)
Board Certification for child/Adolescent not required, willing to take experience*
Department functions as a unit to provide prompt and effective treatment if experience a mental health emergency. Emotional crisis or psychiatric issue needing medical care right away similar to that of an ED for Psych.
Bed Size- 8 (typically 4 patients per day)
Daily routine- reporting, assessing patients and exploring transfers to long term options if needed
Schedule 8am-4pm M-F (no overnight call) Doctors already interested in covering weekends so just need weekdays covered.
