Locum Child Adolescent Psychiatrist MD needed in Martinez, CA

Current DocStar Medical Partners client - have 1 current locum psychiatrist working here now.

Top Hourly Rate + All travel expenses

Hospital Setting

Start: 11/11/24 or as soon as credentialed

End 1/31/2025

LOA: 3 months with an option to extend

Credentialing: 1 month

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 40 hours a week
8 hour shifts - Can be flexible on start time

Patient Volume: varies

Procedures: Child Adolescent Crisis Stabilization Unit

The provider will provide risk assessment informing 5150 holds decisions, medications, medical comorbidities, and psychiatric diagnostics.

This unit is Acute once the patient gets stabilized, they will move them to another unit or facility for long-term treatment.

They have a multi-disciplinary team onsite to support the Psychiatrist

EMR: EPIC

License: CA active

Certifications: BC or true BE and have a plan to take the boards

Credentialing time frame: 1 month, Credentialing has a meeting once a month The file needs to be completed a week before the meeting.
