About the clinician's workday

The facility offers flexible shift options, including 12-hour, 24-hour, and 36-hour shifts, with times available from 7 AM to 7 AM, 7 AM to 7 PM, and 7 PM to 7 AM. This position requires solo MD coverage and proficiency in ER procedures, with comfort in treating patients of all ages. Candidates must have an active Texas medical license and DEA, and be board-certified or board-eligible in any specialty with ER experience. Additionally, active certifications in ACLS, ATLS, and PALS are required if not ABEM-certified. The EMR system used is Meditech, and credentialing can be completed in under 30 days for temporary privileges. Travel and lodging expenses will be covered.
