A health system is seeking an emergency medicine physician for locum tenens coverage.
About the facility location
Visit Cathedral Caverns State Park, the U.S Space and Rocket Center, or Huntsville Botanical Garden while on assignment in Northern Alabama!
About the clinician's workday
The position includes shifts on August 18-19 (2 PM - 11 PM) and September 26-28 (7 PM - 7 AM), with ongoing needs through October and possibly beyond. Approximately 20-25 shifts per month, 9-12 hours each. No rounding required. Annual volume is 33,600, covering all ages, Trauma Level III. EM doctors with pediatric experience and Family Medicine physicians with emergency experience are considered. Fellowship training preferred but not required; board certification is necessary. Credentialing can be expedited. Preference for Alabama license holders. Specialty backups available; EMR systems are T-Systems and CPSI.
