Behavioral Neurology Physician Needed in TN

Job description

I have a client in Knoxville who's seeking an experienced Behavioral Neurology Physician for locum coverage starting ASAP. Here are some job details.

Start: 8/1/2024
5 month block
Schedule: Monday - Friday (8a-4:30pm)
NO weekend, NO CALL
Client prefers 1 provider that can cover entire 5 month block, M-F 8a-4:30pm. However, will also consider 2 providers to ensure block is covered appropriately.

Setting: Pat Summitt Clinic (outpatient clinic), University of Tennessee Medical Center
Patient Volume: 7-8 patients per day, consisting of New Patients, Diagnostic Follow-up (return to discuss tests ordered at new patient visit), and standard Follow-up visits.
Patient Age/Population: 60-95 years old
**Alzheimer's and cognitive complaints
**no special procedures, no EEGs

MUST HAVE TN License - no exceptions
credentialing timeline: approximately 90 days
Neurology Board Certified or Board Eligible

EMR: Cerner Ambulatory Powerchart

Client will provide fully furnished apartment
