Emergency Medicine Physician Needed in PA

Location: Pittsburgh

Start: mid-October or November

13-week assignment with the option to extend

Shifts: 15 shifts per month, Scheduled hours. We are looking for a FT physician

Schedule: M-F: 10a-6p, 10p-7a, 11a-7p, 2p-10p, 4p-12a, 6a-3p, 6p-2a, 8a-5p
Sat-Sun: 10p-7a, 11a-7p, 1p-9p, 2p-11p, 5p-2a, 6a-3p, 8a-5p

• Support staff: APP coverage available - Mid-day shift time. Staff to 1.85 pph
• Amount of coverage needed per month: *We are looking for a FT physician 300hrs/month. Ideally, would prefer someone able to work 133 hrs/month at minimum.
• Patients per day: Annual Volume around 47k.
• Patient population/age: 90% adult 10% peds
• EMR: Cerner
• Skills required: Treating patients in ED.

Practice Setting:
• Hospital - No Trauma Center

Requirements:
• Board Certification: Requires candidates to be ABEM certified, or eligible. ABPS is not an accepted form of EM Board Cert. Please do not present providers who are ABPS certified in EM. Certifications only needed if not EM boarded.
• License required: Yes, State of PA
• DEA: yes
• Certifications required: ACLS, ATLS, PALS - Certifications only needed if not EM boarded.
• Minimum experience required: 2 years

Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days
