A residential treatment facility is looking for a child & adolescent psychiatrist for coverage.

While in Portsmouth, Virginia, visit Portsmouth's historic seaport village or relax and enjoy waterfront dining.

The schedule is Monday-Friday, full-time with call rotation. A VA license required.

Case load/PPD: 10-12
Support staff: 2 Psychiatrists; 1 part-time Psychiatrist; 1 Psychiatrist for Call Pool; 2 Full Time Nurse Practitioners; 1 PT Family Physician
Patient population: Children
Call ratio/schedule: Based on call pool need

Prescriptive authority required: Yes
Shift hours: Full time (40 hours)
Cases treated: Mood disorder, history of trauma, substance abuse, and behavioral concerns
