An urgent care is seeking an urgent care physician assistant for locum tenens coverage.

The facility is located in the Outer Banks in North Carolina.
About the clinician's workday
The established team consists of Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants, including a total of 5 providers and 14 nurses. The clinic offers COVID testing and requires certifications in BLS and ACLS from the AHA, as well as AANP/AANC or NCCPA certification. It operates on an outpatient-only basis, with required procedures including suturing, splinting, burn care, incision and drainage (I&D), foreign body removal, elbow reduction, and laceration repairs. The facility is equipped with X-ray, iStat, CBC capabilities, and features 7 exam rooms, utilizing the EPIC system. The shifts will be 8a-7p and 9a-5p.
