Radiology Interventional Physician Needed in GA (will license-IMLC accepted)

Job description

Location: Augusta, GA

Start: ASAP

13 week assignment


8am-5pm with night call starting 6pm through 7am. Weekend call starts at 6pm on Friday and ends 7am on Monday. Most of the night call is covered for the remainder of the year. However, night call would be every night during the 7 day assignment.

Support staff: 1 other IR MD, no APPs currently. Have group that takes care of reads for all radiology.

• # of patients per day: average 22 per day during the week, 0-2 calls per day on weekends. Half are Inpatient and half are outpatient. Not a lot of reads done outside the imaging on the case being performed.

• Credentialing timeline: 90-120 days--may still be able to do temps

• Additional job specifics: Willing to consider providers that need a license if IMLC eligible
