Cardiac Surgery Physician Assistant Needed in St. Louis, MO

Start Date: July/August
Contract Length: 6 months
Shift Details: Evening preferred
Schedule: 3 12’s/week

Work Details:
• Department Description: Cardiac surgery, level one trauma center, mainly bypass procedures, structural heart, heart failure and heart transplant. Would not be expected to round on patients or go up to the floors this would strictly be for assisting in cardiac surgery.
• Special Procedures: Endoharvest vein, open harvest radial, if can endo harvest radial would be a plus, basic knowledge of heart failure would be nice (VADS, ECMO, Cardiac transplant etc)
• Skills Required: Must know how to endo harvest vein, open harvest radial artery. Cardiac experienced, first assist only.

Practice Setting:
• Hospital

Requirements:
• Board Certification: PA-C
• License Required: MO
• Minimum Experience Required: endoharvest vein and open harvest radial if we get one that can endo harvest radial too that would be a plus.

Credentialing Timeframe: Approx. 2 months
