An Urgent Care facility is seeking an Urgent Care Physician for locum tenens coverage.

About the clinician's workday

Physicians are needed to cover up to 14 shifts per month, with a preference for locums who can take on a significant number of shifts and those who are local, as this is an ongoing assignment. These physicians will work in centers throughout STL, with the option to schedule up to 4 shifts in a row. The centers are open from 8 am to 8 pm Monday to Friday (12-hour shifts) and from 9 am to 5 pm on Saturday and Sunday (8-hour shifts), with no overtime granted. In this urgent care clinic setting, providers must see patients aged 6 months and up for urgent care needs, and be skilled in procedures including suturing, wound care, incision and drainage (I&D), splinting, X-ray and ECG overreads, and placing IVs.
