Locums Critical Care NP Needed in California!

Job description

Work Location:
Units: SICU, Neuro ICU, and CVICU

Patient Load:
Number of Patients per Day: 8 - 16
Hospital Details:
ICU Bed Size: 87 beds

Support Staff:
Day Shift: Attending physician already on staff
Night Shift:
APP only on-site
Attending available at home
Critical care fellow available 24/7
Collaborative co-management with surgical & neuro services

Work Details:
Skills Required:
Central lines
Arterial lines
Moderate sedation
Intubation assistance (recognition of need, not performance)
Complex vent and sedation management
Responsible for codes in the unit
Support: In-house staff available to assist as needed

Requirements:
Board Certification: Required
State License: California required
DEA License: Required
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, ENLS (Emergency Neurological Life Support)
Minimum Experience: 2 years preferred

Credentialing:
Timeframe: 60 – 90 days
