About the clinician's workday

The schedule is Sunday - Saturday from 7am - 4pm. There will be 90% IR and 10% Diagnostic. The IR physician needs to be comfortable with arterial and venous interventions, including vascular access, pulmonary angiography, GI bleed embolization, uterine artery embolization, DVT/PE thrombectomy, and occasional fistulagrams, CT guided biopsy, abscess drain, paracentesis/thoracentesis, nephrostomy tubes, chest tubes, cholecystostomy tubes, biliary drains etc.
