General Surgery NP/PA Coverage Needed in San Leandro, CA

This facility is seeking a General Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NP/PA) for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Monday - Friday, 8:30am -5:00pm. No weekends. No call.

W2 position. Overtime 1.5x after 8 hours provided. Benefits coverage can also be considered.

Credentialing finalization takes about 45-60 days in Northern California. Must be Board Certified.

• Setting: Outpatient Clinic
• Types of Cases: Working with Breast Surgery Patients. Mainly handling Returns and Post Ops – Suture Removals, Drains, Wound Care a plus (Wound care department there if needed). May have some new patient visits but only non-cancerous patients (benign masses). Plastics experience may be an option as well if well versed.
• PPD/Census: Estimated 12-15 Patients per day
