CAROLINA PAIN CENTER is a busy Interventional Pain Medicine private practice located on the beautiful Crystal Coast of North Carolina. We are seeking a highly skilled, experienced Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner to join our growing healthcare team. In this position, you will provide direct patient care, perform medical history and physical exams, order and interpret tests, determine a diagnosis, and develop a treatment plan for the patients. Our goal is to ensure our patients receive the highest quality of care possible in managing their chronic pain issues.

Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner Duties and Responsibilities
• Discuss symptoms with patients and perform a thorough examination
• Order imaging and lab tests and analyze them for diagnosis
• Administer medications
• Communicate with patients on appointment scheduling and treatment progress
• Keep thorough records of all patient examinations, diagnoses, and treatments
• Perform trigger point, intramuscular, and multiple joint injections. Botox administration in the treatment of migraine headaches.
• Must be proficient with EMR and charting
• Work closely with supervising physician who specializes in Anesthesiology and Interventional Pain Medicine
PA/NP Requirements and Qualifications
• Graduation from an accredited PA/NP Program
• Must be Certified by your appropriate PA/NP Certifying body
• Must hold ACTIVE DEA Certification
• 1+ years of experience in a healthcare environment preferred
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Strong sense of compassion and personal ethics
• Ability to work efficiently and independently
• BLS certified
• Active North Carolina License
