Location: Guttenberg IA

Details:
- Emergency Room and Hospital coverage
24-, 48- or 72-hour shifts
Level IV trauma center
- Emergency Department
25 beds
No fast track
Respond to hospital-wide codes
No L&D however there are deliveries in emergency situations
Annual volume - 2400
- Hospitalist Service
BIPAP/CPAP management
Ventilation management
Intubation
Chest tube insertion
Central line and PICC line insertion
Suturing minor lacerations
Incision and drainage
- Ongoing PRN coverage
- EMR: EPIC
- Credentialing: 60 days

Skills and Requirements:
- NP or PA certification
- Iowa NP or PA license
- AHA BLS, ACLS and PALS certification
- 1-year Emergency or Family Medicine experience

Pay Rate: $125.00 per hour

Travel Benefits:
Facility is only considering local candidates.  If you reside greater than 50 miles from the facility you are eligible for mileage reimbursement. 

Provided Travel Expenses:
- Mileage reimbursement (in lieu of flight and rental car)

This assignment is a 1099 contract position. Malpractice insurance is provided for the duration of the assignment with $1M/$3M coverage limits.
