Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Plus Call
Schedule: 12 Hour day shifts (adult), Night call for Peds Hospitalist (our hospitalists cover newborns while on peds call)
for these dates:
Oct 19 at 8am to Oct 25th at 8am
Dec 23 at 8am to Dec 30 at 8am
Work Details:
· Support staff: Yes
· Patients per shift: 6-12
· Patient population/age: Providers MUST be able to see adults, pediatric, and Newborns.
· Providers Requested: 1
· Department description: need requires both IM/PED experience, and the candidate must be FM BC or IM/PED BC. Must also have NRP, BLS, ACLS, and PALS, and recent experience with Peds/Newborns in a Hospitalist setting (within the last 3 years).
· EMR: Epic
· Bed in department: 22
· Skills required: adult – inpatient, ICU, Non-invasive ventilation management, Ventilation management, Intubation (ENT/INT), EKG interpretation. Pediatric – inpatient, Attend C-sections/high risk, Non-invasive vent management (bipap/cpap), Ventilation management, Intubation (ENT/INT), Conscious sedation, Deep Sedation, Central Line Placement
Practice Setting:
• Inpatient
Requirements:
· Board Certification: Yes, FM BC or IM/PED BC
· License required: Active MT License or IMLC
· Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP
Credentialing Timeframe: 30-60 Days

• 13 week with possibility of extending
