for a January 2025 travel contract opportunity
in Albuquerque, NM paying $175 per hour

Job Responsibilities

Perform 8 to 10 gastrointestinal procedures daily, primarily inpatient scopes.
Occasionally round with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) as needed.
Conduct consultations for stable patients who may require procedures, including esophageal food bolus impactions directly referred to the lab.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using the EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) system.
Qualifications

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
Experience with ERCP and EUS is preferred but not required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Working Hours

Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM (10 hours/day on-site)
Location: Presbyterian Main Hospital
On-Call Requirement: None
Weekends: None
