Primary Care Physician needed in CA!

Job description

-Ideally, 4 or 5 days/wk, 7 hrs of patient-facing time each day with 1 hour for admin time. Ave about 18-20 patients per day, Epic EMR highly preferred.
-PATIENT AGE GROUP (Neonatal / Infant / Peds / Adult / Geriatric / etc): Must be able to see all ages from kids to geriatrics
-SPECIAL PROCEDURES/DETAILS: Minor in-office procedures like cyst removal, laceration repair, skin biopsies, cyst removal, incision, etc.
-CERTIFICATIONS REQ’D/PREFERRED?: BLS/ACLS
-BOARD CERT REQ’D/PREFERRED?: Family Medicine Board Certified highly preferred but not required
-STATE LICENSE REQ’D/IMLC?: Must have a current CA Medical license in good standing
-DEA REQ’D?: Yes must have DEA
-WORK EXPERIENCE REQ’D?: Must have at least 6 months recent FM outpatient PCP experience. No IM or hospitalist
-EMR: Epic highly preferred
-Preferred start date: 12/02/24 or 12/09/2024
-CONTRACT LENGTH 3+ Months
-COVERAGE TYPE: M-F 8am-5pm
-# OF SHIFTS & HOUR: M-F 8am-5pm
-SCHEDULE DETAILS: M-F 8am-5pm 7 hours of patient contact time with 1 hour for admin time
-WILLING TO LICENSE?: Must have current CA Medical license in good standing. No disciplinary case

• Board Certifications: FM Board certification preferred not required.
• State License(s): CA Medical license required, current good standing.
• DEA Req’d?: DEA required
• Years of Experience Req’d: 1-4 years outpatient FM PCP experience
Credentialing Timeframe: 4-6 weeks credentialing process
