Locum Hospitalist Swing Shifts in SC

Location: Situated outside the capital of SC, this vibrant city continues to grow into a major diverse and urban area with a bustling downtown area. Conveniently located near I-95 and I-20, take a quick drive to escape to Myrtle Beach, Charleston, or Columbia.

Opportunity: Locum Hospitalist Swing Shift Coverage (1p-1a)

* Typical day: start with a census of 16 and receive 1-2 additional patients throughout the day in the form of a consultation, admission or transfer; no additional assignments after 1800
* Average 15-20 encounters per shift with target of 17
* Join 16-17 Hospitalists on shift during the days
* EMR is EPIC
* Dedicated admitter (“Swing”) starting daily at 1300
* No procedures
* Locum physician expected to respond to a Code Blue on an assigned patient, but not a designated member of the Code Team
* Board Certification and South Carolina license required

Compensation: Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included. Travel and lodging available.
