Pediatric Hospitalist needed in Zanesville, OH! 24 hour shifts! $2,500/day!

Start Date: 1/6/2024
Contract Length: 3 -6 months
Shift Details: 24- hour In-house coverage from 8am-8am. 24-hour in-house shifts covering well baby, Special Care Nursery (level II), attendance at high-risk deliveries., pediatric admission, ED consults & pediatric emergencies.

Work Details:
· Patients per day: Admissions Well-baby – 4-5 per day Special Care Nursery – 1 per day Pediatrics -2 per week Inpatients Well-baby- 5-6 per day Pediatrics- 1 per day ICU Special Care Nursery 2-3 per day.
· Patient population/age: pediatric
· EMR: MedTech with transition to Epic in November.
· Department description: Admission pediatric, Inpatient peds, ICU.
· Hospital bed size: Total Well baby – 28 mother/infant beds Peds Beds – 6 beds Max of 29 infants.
· Special procedures: Intubations, UAC/UVC, Thoracocentesis, Chest tube placement, Arterial blood draw, ventilator management, lumbar puncture, circumcisions, and frenectomy. **Candidates MUST have experience with this procedures as they cannot privilege them without it.

Requirements:
· Board Certification: yes
· License required: yes
· DEA: yes
· Certifications required: PALS/APLS, NRP
· Minimum experience required: 2 years minimum

• 13 week with possibility of extending
• 24 hour shifts
• Intubations, UAC/UVC, Thoracocentesis, Chest tube placement, Arterial blood draw, ventilator management, lumbar puncture, circumcisions, and frenectomy.
