PICU PA Needed in San Francisco, CA

Job description

Contract Length: 3 to 6 months
Schedule: 3, 12-hour shifts per week with 6:15/6:30 AM or PM shift start times

Work Details
-Start Date: ASAP after credentialing
-Unit Information: 20-bed PICU + 16-bed TCUP
-Patient Ratios: PICU Day Ratio 5:1, PICU Night Ratio 10:1, TCUP Day Ratio: 5-8:1, TCUP Night Ratio: 16:1.
-Patient Cases: Surgery recovery, organ transplantation, BIPAP/CPAP/Hi Flow Nasal Cannula, titration of anticoagulant therapy
-EMR: EPIC
-Credentialing Timeframe: 60 - 90 days

Requirements:
- MPAS
- BLS/ACLS/PALS
- Certification/License to Practice in California
- DEA for California
- 1 year of experience in PICU setting or as a Pediatric Hospitalist
