Pediatric Hospitalist Coverage in Maine- Licensing assistance available

Pediatric Hospitalist- Augusta, ME

Schedule: 12 hour Shifts; Mostly Nights- Minimum of 10 shifts/month
Job Setting: Hospital
Type of Cases: Must be able to resuscitate a newborn, including intubation & umbilical line placement.
Credentialing Timeframe: 8-10 weeks (can be quicker for clean files -- temps avail)
Candidates must be Board Certified
Patients per day/volume: average of 5-7 patients per day with 2-3 discharges and 2-3 deliveries
Number of hospital beds: 4 bed pediatric ward, 8 labor rooms and 12 post-partum rooms
Run codes?: respond to newborn resuscitation codes and pediatric codes
Life support certifications required: NRP, PALS, BLS

• No current Maine license needed to be considered
• Flexible schedule- 10 shifts/month min
• 12 hour shifts, nights
