Pediatric Hospitalist NP/PA Needed in GA (will license)

Location: Columbus, GA

Start: November

6-9 month assignment with the option to extend

6a-6p; with evening pager rate. Working 7 shifts in a row ideally. (1 week on/1 week off) Schedule is somewhat flexible. Get with AM)

• Support staff: Pediatric hospitalists during the day. There is no other APP support
• Schedule Details: Full time. 6a-6p with evening pager. Working 7 shifts in a row ideally, 1 week on and 1 week off. Schedule is somewhat flexible, work with Account Manager.

Work Details:
• Practice Setting: Hospital
• EMR/Charting Software: Epic
• Avg. Daily Census: 8-12 typical day and PICU 2-5 day average
• Patient Age Group: Well babies and peds
Procedures: This is a new pediatric hospital. The locum will provide 24 hour support, rounding in nursery on well babies in the AM and assisting with the pediatric hospitalists on the floor in the afternoons. The APPs will be the only overnight providers. PICU (peds icu) experience is required.

Requirements:
• Board Certifications Req’d: Pediatric Hospitalist
• State License(s): GA--will consider if compact eligible
• Certifications: PALS
• Years of Experience Req’d: minimum 2 years

Credentialing Timeframe: 90-120 days; if not sooner if they have low work history
