Nocturnist needed at Hospital in KY!

Job description

• Annual HM volume: 37,000
• Daily total volume: 103
• Day Coverage: 4 Doctors (7a-7p), 3 APP (7a-7p)
• Mid Shift Coverage: 1 APP (1p -1a)
• Training: IM / FM – Board Eligible or Board Certified
• APPs: Yes
• Scribes: No
Notes: Most subspecialties available (no plastics or transplant surgery). Open ICU with designated ICU Hospitalist onsite every day for day shift. Procedures optional, not required, required for Nocturnist (central lines, intubations, vent management is a plus)

The average admission per night for a nocturnist is 8-12. The nocturnist has additional help from the swing shift Nurse Practitioner from 7 pm - 1 am every night.

Daytime admissions are all done in a round-robin fashion with Nurse Practitioners and swing shift doing all admissions
