Facility: A full service, acute care hospital offering a wide range of medical services. Opportunity: Looking for a Locum Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician Practice Setting: Office/Clinic & Hospital & Practice Call (GYN only) Dates of Coverage: 5/1/25-11/15/25 Shift(s) Description: Tuesdays & Fridays, 8-5, 2 days a week in clinic, some call Call Ratio: 1:4 (ED); 1:2 (Practice) Average Number of Scheduled Patients Per Day:30+ Number of Physicians in Practice: 1 Physician; 1 APP How Many APPs Provide Coverage: 1 with physician backup Number of Exam Rooms: 8 Number of Exam Rooms: 8 Onsite Lab? Yes Onsite Ultrasound? Yes Describe Office Equipment: LEEP Machine Describe Support Staff: 1 MA per provider, 2 LPN's to manage surgical scheduling & patient follow up calls What Percentage of Practice is Low Risk Pregnancy: No longer seeing new OB patients 10% remaining What Percentage of Practice is GYN: 95% Documentation System/EMR: EPIC Required Obstetrics Procedures: Low Risk Pregnancy (i.e. History of Twins, Toxemia, Pyelonephritis, etc.) FHR Interpretation – NST/CST/FSE","OB ultrasounds – Performance of Interpretation OB ultrasounds – Performance of Level I/Screening (Viability) OB ultrasounds – Performance of Level II/Targeted (Anatomic) Gynecology Required Procedures: Office/Minor Gynecology –IUD, Cystoscopy, Colposcopy, Cryosurgery, LEEP, etc. Surgical Gynecology – Open Operative/Major (Includes Diagnostic) – Ectopic Pregnancy, Ovary Removal, Cystectomy, Extensive LOA’s Compensation: Competitive weekly pay and malpractice included.
