LOCUM UROLOGY OPPORTUNITY – LEVEL 1 TRAUMA CENTER | 24-HOUR CALL COVERAGE (PA)
We are seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Urologist for a locum tenens opportunity at a busy Level 1 Trauma hospital in Pennsylvania. This is a high-acuity but well-supported practice with strong clinical and OR resources.

June 1 (7A) – June 5 (7A)


June 8 (7A) – June 12 (7A)


June 22 (5P) – June 26 (7A)



🏥 PRACTICE SETTING


Hospital-based Urology service


Level 1 Trauma Center


EPIC EMR


16 operating rooms (York Hospital & Apple Hill Surgery Center)


Strong support: 4 MAs, 1 CSA, 1 RN + APP supervision support



🩺 CLINICAL SCOPE


24-hour beeper call with light callback (2–6 hrs/day)


Mix of OR cases, cysto/stent procedures, and occasional clinic coverage


Typical volume: 24–28 patients (varies with urgency)


Full urologic scope including:


Vasectomy / reversal


Cystoscopy (OR)


Ureteroscopy


Lithotripsy


Prostate procedures


Orchiopexy


Rare penile implants & circumcisions (OB-supported pediatrics)





🧠 REQUIREMENTS


BC/BE in Urology


Active PA license preferred for faster onboarding


DEA required


Minimum 1 year experience


Robotic surgery experience welcomed (not required)
