Urologist needed in Harrisburg, PA!

Location: Harrisburg PA
Start date: 9/23/24
• Schedule Details: Rotating call coverage Mon 7a - Mon 7a. 24hr call Mon-Mon is for consults, emergent surgeries and anything the APPs can't cover. Weekend call includes rounding if they need to check in on any inpatients. Call Volume: light during the week but could be heavier on weekends since urology staff only on site M-F.
• Coverage Type: Call
Work Details:
• Support staff: APP/Midlevel Coverage Available | Days. Each hospital has urology specific staff (PA or NP) who work every weekday 8-4:30. They handle initial consults, see and prep cases, add to schedule, etc. APP/Midlevel Coverage weekdays at all sites to handle initial consults
• Facility Type: Hospital – not a trauma center. Locations receive acute transfers from community hospitals within system
• Practice Setting: Call coverage for 3 hospitals within a 10 mile radius. Also, these locations receive acute transfers from community hospitals within system
• EMR/Charting Software: epic
• Patient Age Group: adult/peds
An average of 10 cases weekly (this is an estimate)
Requirements:
• Board Certification Required
• PA License required
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS
Credentialing Timeframe: 60 days
