DETAILS:
• Non-Trauma Center. Inpatient only (with occasional outpatient care).
• EMR: EPIC
• Duties & Support Staff: ER evaluation and OR and floor follow up. PA support provided. No admissions. Consult service surgical PAs in hospital, 24/7 hospitalist service.
• Cases: small urologic open or endoscopic procedures during call coverage. foley catheter placement, hematuria, septic ureteral stone requiring stent placement, in-house consults.
REQUIRED:
• NY License active, unrestricted
• DEA required.
• Board Certification – Urology
• COVID Vaccinated
SCHEDULE:
• HOTEL - 24hr call shift, weekdays only. Physicians do not need to be onsite but do need to be nearby at hotel. Expected shift start time as 7a or 8a.
• Call: call coverage with related small urologic open or endoscopic procedures; no trauma
COMPENSATION:
• Competitive Market Rate (rate based on availability, experience, certifications, housing, and transportation needs, etc.)
• Malpractice insurance provided
• Temp privileges available for completed credentialing files.
