Urology Coverage in California

Job description

Enloe Medical Center, a Level II Trauma Center and premier regional referral hospital in Northern California, is seeking a Board-Certified Urologist for ongoing locum tenens coverage. The facility provides advanced surgical services and serves as a referral center for complex oncology, trauma, and specialty urologic care.

Opportunity Details
Location: Chico, California
Practice Setting: Urology Clinic and Call Coverage
Coverage Requirement: Minimum 2 weeks per month
1 week of clinic coverage
1 week of call coverage
Open to a single provider or a two-provider rotational schedule
Clinical Responsibilities

Clinic

20–25 patients per day
Routine outpatient urology consultations and follow-up visits

Call

8–12 inpatient rounding patients per day
3–5 consults per day
1–2 overnight admissions
2–3 overnight phone consults
Management of urologic emergencies and stone cases through the Emergency Department
Procedures
Bread-and-butter urology
Stone management and endourology procedures
Aquablation experience highly preferred
Fluoroscopy experience preferred but not required
Higher-volume exposure to advanced urologic oncology cases
Support Staff
2 Physician Assistants
3 Licensed Vocational Nurses
4 Medical Assistants
Additional Information
EMR: Epic
Licensure: Active California license required
Board Certification: Required
Experience: Minimum of 2 years post-training experience preferred
Credentialing: Approximately 60 days; temporary privileges may be available for providers with a clean file
