Urology Locums – Arizona | December Coverage

Job description

We are seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Urologist for a locums assignment in Arizona. This position offers a mix of clinic, OR, and call coverage with flexible scheduling for full-time or partial-month availability. There is also a strong chance of future dates if you do a great job on this assignment.

Position Highlights

December Coverage: Block dates Dec 6–14, 2025 (mix of clinic, call, and OR).

Flexible Options: Full-time coverage or 2 weeks/month considered.

Future Potential: High likelihood of additional dates if performance meets expectations.

Collaborative Environment: Support from 1 PA, hospital-based practice, no robotics.

Position Details

Start Date: December 6, 2025

Available Shifts:

Dec 6: 8a–8a

Dec 7: 8a–8a

Dec 8–12: 8a–5p clinic w/ 1 hr lunch + beeper call 5p–8a

Dec 13–14: 8a–8a

Setting: 99-bed hospital | Cerner EMR

Workload:

Clinic: ~20 patients/day

Procedures: 10–15 per week

Surgeries: 3–4 per day in OR

Special Procedures: Vasectomy, infant circumcision outpatient (not required)

Requirements

Board Certification: BC or BE in Urology

Licensure: Active AZ license or IMLC

Certifications: DEA required (CSR not required)

Experience: Minimum 1 year
