Trauma Surgeon (MD/DO) needed in Dubois, PA

Ideal Start Date: 8/11/2024
Contract Length: 7 weeks
Shift Details: 7 x 12
Schedule: Full-time; 7 on/7 off; 7a-7p plus night call.

Work Details:
• Support staff: Full hospital support from Level II trauma center; 2 surgeons during the day on weekdays and one on weekends; one for trauma and one for emergency general surgery. There is a backup trauma surgeon on days and nights with a 15-minute response time.
• Patient population/age: Adult
• EMR: Cerner
• Practice Setting: Hospital
• $3,000/day

Requirements:
• Board Certification: Board Certification (Fellowship trained in Surgical Critical Care)
• State license required: Yes, the State of PA
• DEA: Yes
• Certifications required: ATLS
• Minimum experience required: 1 – 2 years post fellowship
Credentialing Timeframe: 3-4 weeks for temps; provider MUST complete application ASAP
