Cardiovascular Surgery Physician needed for 2 weeks with potential of ongoing coverage in Midland, MI

Job description

Dates of Coverage:
- July 17 @ 7am - August 1 @ 7am
- Clinic and call
- Inpatient rounding
- APPs take first call (ICU, Hospital floors, outpatients and ED)
- Coverage is for 2 week with potential of ongoing flexing between 2-3 hospitals. Will only cover one hospital for block. Will not transfer back and forth.
Cases/Procedures:
- CABGs
- Bread and butter cases
- 4 patients currently - all post open hearts
- 15 open hearts since Jan 2023
Clinical support:
- Full CVOR support
- Anesthesia - 2 CV anesthesiologists on staff
- APPs take first call and vein harvesting
Additional Details:
- EMR Epic/Dragon
- Must have experience, will not take new grads
- ACLS
- Case Logs Required:125 in last 12 months
- MI license preferred but will consider IMLC if found in time.
- Credentialing time frame: 2-4 weeks (Temps are available)
- $1,250 referral bonus received for any referral who works 30 days.
