Locum CVT Surgical NP/PA Needed near Midland, MI Starting as soon as credentialed

Job description

- Specialty: Cardiovascular Surgery APP
- Schedule:
- Call and Clinic
- Monday – Friday: 7am – 5pm
- One clinic day per week (8am – 4:30 pm)
- Four Inpatient/OR days per week
- Plus Call: APP’s take first call (ICU, ED, Outpatient)
- Weeknight/Weekend Call divided amongst three APP’s
- Vein Call divided amongst two APP’s (including this locum)
- Volume:
- OR Cases: On average 3- 8 cases per week
- CVICU: 10 bed unit
- Case Types:
- Required: Saphenous and radial vein harvesting (Utilize Getinge EVH)
- Additional Details:
- Support: 4 CVS Surgeon and two APPs
- EMR: EPIC/Dragon
- Required Certs: BLS, ACLS, Will not consider new grads
- MI License required or IMLC
- Due to the quick turnaround it would be ideal to already have MI license
- Average 50 Cases per year.
- Credentialing time frame: 2-4 weeks (Temps are available)
- $500 referral bonus received for any referral who works 30 days.
