Specialty: Surgical Oncology NP
Start Date: 08/01/2024
Contract Length: 26 Weeks
Shift Details: 5 x 8 or 4 x 10
Schedule: All on-site, no remote. Possibility for one day remote if they’re on the 8-hour schedule for one day/week. Must be willing to work on Fridays.
Work Details:
• Patient population/age: Mostly adult/geriatric – some older adolescents
• Department Description: Urology Surgery
• EMR: EPIC
• Skills required: Experience in one of the following: surgical oncology, surgery, urology, medical oncology. Experience in surgical oncology is highly preferred. Willing to consider new grads if they have a lot of nursing surgical oncology or urology experience. The clinic is very busy and fast-paced, must be comfortable in this environment. The facility and faculty are known for innovative research and are world-renowned for the urology work being done.

Requirements:
• Board Certification: Yes
o NP must have one of the following: A-GNP-C, ANP-C, FNP-C, GNP-C, AGPCNP-BC, ANP-BC, FNP-BC, GNP-BC, ACNP-BC, AGACNP-BC, ACNPNC-AG, OR ACNPC.
• DEA: Yes
• Certifications required: AHA BLS
• Minimum experience required: 1 – 2 years
Credentialing Timeframe: 60 – 90 days
