CA Hospitalist Locums Opportunity – June Night Coverage. Procedures required!

Start Date: 05/11/2026
Contract Length: Only the shifts listed below
Schedule: 12 hour night shifts

Required MD Night Shifts: June 1, 3, 5, 6, 12, 13, 14
Provider must be able to work all listed dates.

Work Details:
• Coverage needed at two locations
• Providers will credential at both locations and must be able to work at both
•1st location 80 beds currently staffed, expanding to 122 beds by May 1 and 144 beds by June 1
•2nd location: 80 beds
• EMR: Epic
• Closed ICU
• No observation unit
• 60% admit rate at Irvine
• Nocturnists are responsible for procedures, vent management, and responding to code blues

Requirements:
• Board Certified in Internal Medicine
• Active California license required
• AHA ACLS certification required
• Must be comfortable performing procedures
• Must have experience in a high acuity setting

Credentialing Timeframe:
• Approximately 30 days
• Temporary privileges are being issued
