🧠 Inpatient Neurologist Opportunity – North Carolina

📅 Schedule: 7 AM – 7 PM | 15 Shifts per Month
🖥 EMR: Cerner

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Inpatient Neurologist to join a highly supported Neuro-Hospitalist and Stroke Program team in North Carolina. This opportunity offers strong clinical support, an established stroke infrastructure, and a collaborative inpatient environment.

Clinical Responsibilities

✅ Provide inpatient neurology coverage for:

Neuro ICU (J4)
Neuro Step Down
Med Surg Unit (A6W)
Comprehensive Stroke Program

✅ Daily patient volume includes:

4–5 consults per day
10–15 rounding encounters daily
Some shared with APP support

✅ No EEG responsibilities

Schedule Details

🕖 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
📆 15 shifts per month
🏥 12-hour inpatient shifts covering Monday–Sunday rotation

Support Team

This is a well-supported service line with:

👨‍⚕️ NP/PA support
👨‍⚕️ Additional inpatient Neurologist coverage
👩‍⚕️ Full nursing staff for ICU, Step Down & Med Surg units
📊 Dedicated Stroke Manager
📋 Five Stroke Coordinators

Requirements

✔ Active North Carolina Medical License
✔ Active North Carolina DEA
✔ Stroke care experience required
✔ Board Certified or Board Eligible Neurologist preferred
