Pediatric Hospitalist Assignment

Job description

• 24 hour coverage: 7am-7am. In unit then be available for emergencies and deliveries (housing on campus).
• 5-7 shifts of needed coverage per month. dependent on APPs
• Certifications needed: BLS, DEA, CPR and NRP. Certification wanted: PALS.
• On call: beeper and in house; ADC is roughly 2-5; Typically 5 Admissions.
• Solo provider onsite.
• Procedures: circumcisions, intubations, arterial lines, central lines, umbilical lines, PICC.
• Temporary and emergency privileges' granted.
• T&L provided.
