Urologist needed in Wellsboro, PA! $275/hour + Travel and Lodging!

Job description

Length of contract: ongoing
• Start date: January 2025
• Support staff: No additional Urologist or APPs at this location as it is a solo practice. Inpatient Hospitalist coverage 24/7
• Coverage Type: full time - Need someone who can provide 3 weeks a month.
• Schedule Details: Full time 5 days a week office practice from 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM M-F with surgeries. Client prefers someone ongoing for a minimum of 6 months. No after hours call
*The client does prefer 1 candidate full-time, but they are willing to take 2 locum candidates who would do 10 shifts per month consistently so they could have 2 consistent weeks of coverage.
*Please note in the presentation summary if your candidate is going to offer 10 days a month (5 consecutive days twice a month) or FT.

• Practice Setting: Hospital Based – Free Standing clinic
• EMR/Charting Software: epic and cerner
• Avg. Daily Census: 20
• Patient Age Group: adult
• Procedures: typical urology procedures. Cystoscopy, Vasectomy, Lithotripsy, Stents, Hydrocele's, etc.
• *1 possibly 2 OR/Surgery Days in Hospital
Requirements:
• Board Certifications Req’d/Preferred: BC/BE required
• State License(s): PA required- if IMLC, please include details in presentation
• Certifications: BLS
• CSR Req’d: no
• DEA Req’d?: yes
• Years of Experience Req’d: 1
Credentialing Timeframe: 2 months

• 13 week with possibility of extending
• No on call
