OBGYN Needed near Denver CO! Make up to $175/hr + travel/lodging.

Job description

Start: Once credentialed - 90 days
Contract Length: 6 months - ongoing

Specialty: OB Hospitalist
Shift Details: 14 shifts per month; 14-hour shifts
7 days per week, 5p-7a, 7on/7off is ideal.
Will take a minimum 7 day stretch per month.

Work Details:
• Support staff: staffed 24/7 with attending physician and midwives, 24/7 anesthesia coverage, 2 CRNA dedicated to labor and delivery and 1 anes attending in house at all times.
• Approx 13 deliveries per day
• Patient population/age: primarily adult women, antepartum
• EMR: EPIC
• Labor and delivery unit is 15 beds with 3 operating rooms in PACU
• Broad skillset: vaginal deliveries, scheduled and emergency c-sections, familiarity with and being able to manage post-partum hemorrhage medically and surgically, heavy focus on OB side, ectopic pregnancy, D and C.

• Additional Info: aprox 400 deliveries per month; they do labor patients who have had prior c-sections;

Practice Setting:
• Hospital - Level I trauma center, Level 3 Nursery

Requirements:
• Board Certification: Yes, Obstetrics (will also consider Laborist)
• State license required: Yes, State of CO
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS
