Coverage Type: Interventional Call Coverage

Schedule Details:
Cath Lab Coverage: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM daily
Interventional Call Coverage: 5:00 PM - 8:00 AM, shared with 4 other interventional cardiologists
Weekend Interventional Rounds: Shared with 4 other interventional cardiologists
24-Hour Call Frequency: Once a month, 8:00 AM - 8:00 AM weekend coverage
Weeknight Call Back Rate: About 40%
Weekend 24-Hour Call Back Rate: About 60%

Support Staff:
APP Mid-Level Coverage available
Admissions handled by hospitalists, except for STEMIs, which are managed by the interventionalist
APP mid-level coverage times: Weekdays 6:30 AM - 10:00 PM, Weekends 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

EMR/Charting Software:
EMR: Cerner
Cath Lab Documentation System: Xper
Inpatient: 4
Admissions: 4
Cases: 5 (1 per night)
Patient Load During 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM: 5 - 8 patients
Patient Age Group: Adults

Procedures:
Diagnostic Cath
PCI (Percutaneous Coronary Intervention)
Impella/IABP Placement

Requirements
Board Certifications: BC/BE
State License: Active PA License

Certifications Required:
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
BLS (Basic Life Support)
DEA Registration

Years of Experience: Minimum 3 years
Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 60 days
