Interventional Cardiologist needed in Erie, PA!! $375/hour +Travel and Lodging!

Start date: 11/4/24
• Support staff: APP Mid-Level Coverage available. Who does the admissions: The hospitalist, except for STEMIs, then the interventionalist does the admission *Will they need to cover STEMIS? Yes. APP mid-level coverage times available: 6:30 am to 10 pm weekdays, 7 am to 4 pm weekends
• Coverage Type: Cover interventional call
• Schedule Details: *Call lab coverage only needed, 7A to 4P daily.
*Interventional call coverage only, starting at 5P to 8 am, sharing with 4 other interventional cardiologists. Weekend interventional rounds with 4 other interventional cardiologists. We have someone assigned to cover call 7 am to 5 pm every day, we just need cath lab coverage during the day and then on call after 5P. How often for weeknight call: Once a week as we only have 4 interventionalists right now, so they all will cover one day
*How often is 24hr call: 8a-8a weekend coverage, once a month
*Callback avg during week night call About 40%
*Callback avg during 24hr weekend call coverage. About 60%
Work Details:
• EMR/Charting Software: cerner. Cath lab documentation system platform: The physician procedure documentation is in Cerner, cath lab staff document in Xper
• Vaccines Mandatory?:
• Avg. Daily Census: IP – 4 Admissions – 4 Cases - 5, 1 per night. Patient load during 7a-4p: 5 - 8 patients
• Patient Age Group: adults
• Procedures: Diagnostic cath, PCI, Impella/IABP placement
Requirements:
• Board Certifications Req’d/Preferred: BC/BE Required
• State License(s): PA license
• Certifications: ACLS BLS
• CSR Req’d: no
• DEA Req’d?: yes
• Years of Experience Req’d: 3
Credentialing Timeframe: 60 days

• 13 weeks with option to extend
